Inntopia Marketing Cloud Year in Review: A long list of new clients, big wins, and new integrations.

As I mentioned yesterday, 2021 was a fantastic year for Inntopia Commerce clients. What about Marketing Cloud? Turns out, the year might have been even better.

New Clients
We had a long list of incredible new clients go live in 2021 including Mt. Baldy, SilverStar, PGA National, Horseshoe Bay, Nantahala Outdoor Center, Big Cedar Lodge, Mission Ridge, Powder Mountain, and many others.

New Features & Integrations
Our engineering team was working hard to release a long list of new features including a new demographics tab in List Builder, an SMS integration in Inntopia Commerce checkout, a pass scan detail dashboard, guest credit notifications for Inntopia Commerce, and more. We also rolled out new integrations with 1Risk, Agilysys Stays, RecScheduler, Checkfront, and a couple really cool new ones that we’ll be announcing soon.

Staff Milestones
We were excited to welcome Eric Phillips to the Marketing Cloud development team and celebrate work anniversaries for Ben Zeeb who hit 15 years, Kurt Kinscherf who hit 10 years, and Lindsay Haller, Kendall Wilson, and Wyatt Breed who each hit 5 years.

Purgatory SMS Campaign
Inntopia Marketing Cloud clients were also firing on all cylinders including Purgatory who rolled out a new SMS strategy based on a classic, analog campaign that was extremely popular with their guests.

Treetops SMS Ramp up
Treetops also jumped into the SMS game with a Masters-themed sweepstakes that capitalized on the interest around major championships to quickly give them SMS database a boost.

Black Hills Data-Driven Social
One of my personal favorite stories was how Black Hills asked the Inntopia Digital team to bridge the gap between their guest database and their social media efforts. Our team ran with it and delivered amazing results on a tight budget and timeline.

New Marketing Automation Book
Of course, many of you likely heard about the new book – The Ultimate Guide to Resort Marketing Automation – that we released on January. It’s been downloaded by marketers all over the world and the response has been incredible. It’s free to download here if you haven’t snagged it yet.
