Password Resetting Tips
Passwords…We all have dozens of them, and it can be challenging to keep track of them. If you’re in need of a password reset within the Inntopia RMS or CRS, follow these quick tips.
Know Your User ID
When you click the password reset link, you will be asked to enter your user ID, not your email address
. The email address linked to the user account will then receive the temporary password needed to perform the reset.
Verify Your Email Address
The next time you log into the RMS or CRS, go to your user profile to verify that your email address is entered properly. You don’t want to find out it’s incorrect when you’re waiting for your password reset email to arrive in your inbox. Because, guess what? It won’t arrive.
If you have four failed login attempts, your account will be locked. But don’t fret, accounts will be unlocked after 60 minutes, giving you another opportunity to log in correctly. Or you can call partner services
and they can unlock it.
