After the bizarre year that was 2020, it was great to see 2021 pick up for our clients and our team in almost every area.
New Clients
We were excited to welcome new clients like Bernice Later from Mont Farlagne who turned to us again after her success at Holiday Mountain, Shawnee Mountain who are selling their own tickets alongside area lodging partners’ rooms, as well as Skishop, Whistler Reservations, Big Bear, and many others.
New Features
Though we launched the integration in 2020, our partnership with Affirm was strengthened as we brought more clients onboard and held a joint-webinar to share early results from Beech Mountain who was an early adopter. We also rolled out new integrations between Commerce and Marketing Cloud including guest credit notifications and SMS opt-ins during checkout. New integrations like Bay Lakes Information Systems were certified. And we were thrilled to roll out a new integration with 1RISK waivers that takes advantage of both Commerce and Marketing Cloud features to give our clients the opportunity to get the best of both 1RISK and Inntopia Commerce.
New Staff & Milestones
We welcomed two new Strategic Account Managers – Andy Cummins and Adam Glick- and another member of our Frontline Team – Jake Goss – to the team to help support these new and existing clients. Long-time Inntopian Jesse George took his talents to our Implementations Team to help new clients go live as quickly as possible. Ashley Fay hit her 10 year anniversary with Inntopia and Tyler Santerre celebrated 5 years.
Alterra API Project
Among our favorite stories of the year was a case study about how Alterra Mountain Company has used the Inntopia Commerce API to build add-to-cart functionality to their marketing websites using live rates and inventory compiled by the Commerce system. Running Sitecore for their CMS, they’ve been able to bridge the gap between marketing that inspires and commerce that converts.
Revelstoke Contactless
Revelstoke Mountain Resort also used Inntopia Commerce to deliver contactless pickup for their guests to take pressure off their frontline staff and help their guests continue to safely and confidently navigate the Covid-19 pandemic.
New Book
Last but not least, we started rolling out a new book that provides a simple approach to growing ecommerce revenue. We’ve been teasing chapters this fall but the full book will be released next month.
An easy year? Of course not. Like resorts, we’re constantly course correcting during this challenging times for individuals and businesses. But we’ve come together as a company, worked tirelessly for our clients, and we’re extremely proud of what we’ve been able to do together.
