At Insight365 a couple weeks ago we talked about how aligning our efforts with evolving booking trends is a big focus of ours. Guests’ expectations, needs, and dynamics are moving quickly.

Here are three ways we’ll helping resorts keep up.

Custom Booking Engine Partners

When it comes to direct bookings, one of the biggest ways we’re helping give our customers the booking experience their guests need is by working with and supporting custom booking engines built on the Inntopia Commerce API.

For example, our long-time partner Spotlio has enhanced their custom Inntopia booking engine with a bunch of new B2B features and a new integrated marketing website concept.

And our newest custom booking engine partner, AZDS, has created a beautiful, high-conversion booking engine based on all their experience with the original RevRaise booking engine.

Distribution API Partners

While direct bookings are the preference, most resort operators recognize that OTAs are part of the equation and it’s about finding balance. Our Distribution API allows us to integrate with major and niche OTAs alike – or platforms that enhance distribution – so your inventory that lives in Inntopia can be found on every channel you need.

For example, Jetstream helps multi-unit properties better distribute that specific type of listing across all the major OTAs. Whimstay combines the demand for short-term rentals with the constant need for last-minute bookings. We’ve integrated with both to open up these booking channels to all of our interested customers.

Commerce API Enhancements

But we also recognize that some resorts have very unique needs and the bandwidth to create totally unique experiences for their guests. So we continue to enhance our Commerce API to give these brands the tools they need to create these custom engines.

Camelback is one that’s built neatly-integrated lodging search functionality right into their marketing website.

Alterra has done them same, but gone even deeper by wiring product details in their CMS (Sitecore) to the availability, rates, and inventory for those same products within their Inntopia Commerce account.

Booking trends will continue to evolve, but we’re working hard to ensure you and your guests always have a way to align the way you sell your products with the way your market wants to book them.
