News Quebec Resorts Choose Inntopia

Inntopia’s Commerce and Marketing Cloud platforms prove a good fit for several of Quebec’s best resorts.

Les Sommets and Bromont, montagne d’expériences have signed contracts to implement Inntopia’s Marketing Cloud platform. The six resorts in total join fellow Quebec resorts and Inntopia customers Tremblant and Mont-Sainte-Anne in a growing trend toward using technology to improve results in the destination travel industry.

Inntopia’s Marketing Cloud is a one-stop CRM platform built for resorts that collects their customer data to produce more revenue, better guest experiences, and higher ROI. Their Commerce platform helps travelers book their whole vacation package in one step—either online or over the phone—including lodging, tee times, lift tickets, activities, spa, and transportation.

Both Bromont and les Sommets use accesso’s Siriusware platform to manage lift tickets, season passes, and points-of-sale. Inntopia’s two-way API connection to Siriusware allows Marketing Cloud users to collect customer data to create more effective email campaigns and keep track of revenue generated by each email for each customer.

Les Sommets operates five ski areas (Saint-Sauveur, Mont Gabriel, Olympia, Morin Heights, and Edelweiss,) a popular water park, a campground, and a tree-top adventure (Acro-Nature), and was looking for a tool that would let them leverage their significant stream of customer data into better marketing and more advance bookings. “We have a long history of being on the leading edge,” said les Sommets Group Marketing Director, Christian Dufour. “The first ski lifts in North America were installed here at Sommet Saint-Sauveur, and now we’re continuing that tradition to send the right message, to the right customers, at the right time.”

Bromont, montagne d’expériences is located in the Quebec’s Eastern Townships. The resort boasts the largest illuminated ski area in North America, as well as a water park in the summer, and the largest mountain biking area in Eastern Canada. “We’re very excited about Inntopia’s experience integrating with Siriusware,” said Steve Baillargeon, Bromont’s IT director. “We’re looking forward to seeing exactly what emails are driving revenue, and using that information to improve our efforts over time.”

Mont-Sainte-Anne, a Quebec resort owned by Resorts of the Canadian Rockies (RCR), and Tremblant, now owned by Aspen Skiing Company and KSL Capital, have been using Inntopia’s Commerce platform to package lift tickets and lodging by integrating with property management systems and other software since 2008 and 2014, respectively.

“Being headquartered in Vermont, a lot of us at Inntopia have spent a lot of ski days in Quebec, and we’re very excited to welcome some of the best resorts in the province into the family,” said Inntopia CEO, Trevor Crist. “It is, as they say, un match parfait.”

With a single admission, clients also have access to alpine luges and the Mountain Bike Experience. The mountain bike park covers more than 50 km with 22 Downhill trails, 10 Enduro circuits, and five learning circuits, providing total access to riders of all levels, both new and seasoned.
