Inntopia’s integraton with OneSignal allows resorts to use guest data, traits, and audiences from their Inntopia Marketing Cloud database to target push notifications through the resort’s mobile app. Push notifications can be ad hoc campaigns or automated push messages, such as pre-arrival messages. Customer data from the resort’s mobile app is synced to Inntopia via the mobile app vendor (such as Wearlynx) on a nightly basis. Inntopia then pushes the most recent customer profile data from Marketing Cloud to OneSignal where it can be used for guest targeting and automated push notifications.

Marketing Cloud Audiences
Create ad hoc lists within Marketing Cloud to define audiences to send push notifications through OneSignal.
Traits & User Tags
Create predefined traits that can be pushed to OneSignal as a “User Tag” to define audiences for targeted messages.
Push Notification Segments
Create “segments” using OneSignal pre-defined data sets or a custom “User Tag” from Marketing Cloud to define your audience for each push notification.
Automated Push Notifications
Create automated push notifications in OneSignal for pre-arrival and post-departure messaging using “User Tags” from Marketing Cloud.
Notification Suppressions
Data can be used to suppress key segments (passholders, guests with an upcoming booking, etc.) from receiving notifications.
App Usage in Guest Database
The integration is bi-directional which allows you and your team to take advantage of insights about app users.
