Mammoth Mountain Ski Area Partners with Inntopia to Enable Dynamic Packages and Pricing at their Resort.
Mammoth Mountain Ski Area has become the latest ski resort to select Inntopia as their complete e-commerce and central reservations platform. Using Inntopia’s full product suite, Mammoth will offer their guests enhanced online and phone booking options for lodging, lift tickets, activities, and transportation. Mammoth will utilize the Inntopia.CRS back-office platform to efficiently package lifts, lodging, and other resort components and offer guests ‘one stop shopping’, while significantly reducing agent training and call times.
“We needed a platform to support our extensive e-commerce and pricing strategies,” says Howard Pickett, Mammoth’s Chief Marketing Officer. “Inntopia’s out-of-the-box solutions, combined with its scalability, give us the tools we need to succeed now and into the future.”
On the e-commerce side, Mammoth will install Inntopia.IBE, a highly flexible e-commerce packaging system, allowing guests to book lodging, lift, activity, and transportation packages, or reserve those components a la carte. It also includes Inntopia.YieldView, a calendar-based shopping tool to support sophisticated yielding of lift tickets and other activity products, with included RFID (radio frequency identification) reload capabilities for direct-to-lift access.
Mammoth Mountain Ski Area will also use Inntopia’s season pass and air modules, as well as Inntopia’s extensive library of APIs (application programming interfaces) to provide deep integration with Mammoth’s online and mobile presence. They will also be taking advantage of Inntopia’s integrated distribution to wholesalers, tour operators, and leading online travel agencies.
By leveraging Inntopia’s robust connectivity options, Mammoth is able to focus on the marketing of their resort, rather than systems integration. Mammoth will leverage several of Inntopia’s system interfaces, including: SiriusWare POS and ticketing software, VisualOne by Agilisys property management system, Travelport air bookings, rental car direct connects, Google Analytics, and integration with tour operators and wholesalers.
