Josh Panda and Misty Mountain Hopera to Perform at INSIGHT Reception

Josh Panda and Misty Mountain Hopera will perform at the Welcome Party for the 2017 Inntopia INSIGHT Conference. A long set of Led Zeppelin Tribute is scheduled, as well as a second set of Rolling Stones and other current pop hits, all very danceable.

The evening’s celebration will also begin with a private dinner for INSIGHT attendees and sponsors at 6:30pm at the Matterhorn Restaurant and Night Club, voted Best Après Ski Bar by USA Today in 2016.

Present and future Inntopia clients, industry friends, and family not attending the Conference will receive a personal invitation to attend the party starting at 8 pm. Space is limited; attendees must RSVP and be 21 and over to attend. Look in your inbox for the invitation in the week leading to the event.

The event benefits The Chill Foundation, a non-profit organization providing opportunities for under-served youth to build self esteem and life skills through snowboarding and other board sports including skateboarding, surfing, and stand-up paddle boarding. The organization’s programs focus on six weekly themes: Respect, Patience, Persistence, Courage, Responsibility, and Pride. Chill serves 1,200 kids between the ages of 10 and 18 years old each year in North America and has impacted almost 20,000 kids since it was started in 1995 by Jake and Donna Carpenter, owners of Burton Snowboards.

A suggested donation of $15 per person (and any other additional donations) to benefit The Chill Foundation will be collected at the door, at the Matterhorn Restaurant and Nightclub, 4969 Mountain Road, Stowe, Vermont 05672.
“Josh Panda opens his mouth and it makes you say ‘what the f*#%!!!!’ He’s a powerhouse of a singer and a front man with a unique sensibility and a laid-back vibe. Old school but hip as hell.” – the Infamous Stringdusters.

Born in North Carolina, Josh Panda spent the first 14 years of his life following in the footsteps of his gospel-singing mother. He was raised in a Southern Baptist church community where feelings were not held back. The music, the sermon, the life was all about giving into the moment. Now at age 29, having amicably left the church and the south behind him, Panda continues to weave the organic and vulnerable influence of his Carolina roots into his music. It’s rock and roll performed as it was intended: raw, emotional, and unrestrained. The music can at times be suspenseful as you watch Panda reach for a note that wasn’t rehearsed, but it’s the note he wants and the note that feels right for that moment. One fan said of this moment, “he breaks through the wall between the singer and the audience, evoking a feeling of unity, as the crowd feels they are reaching for that note with him.”
