Forward-looking daily occupancy and visitation insight

Track advanced reservations to inform marketing, staffing, and operational planning

The Daily Occupancy Report (DOR) is the key to tracking and anticipating total guest visitation at destination resort communities. The DOR offers destinations a forward-looking daily view of advanced reservation activity and resort-wide occupancy up to six months in advance, providing a tool for both short-lead marketing and operational planning personnel to increase efficiency across multiple entities. Marketers can see their occupancy needle move as they make informed decisions and changes to strategies and campaigns. The DOR is valuable for upcoming sales opportunities and anticipating visitation at tourism-dependent businesses to determine staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.

Optimized for Insights
The DOR both looks like and acts like an EKG, measuring the “pulse” of your destination. It shows current-year performance against previous-year performance, highlighting Saturdays with the guidelines and year-over-year percentage changes with black bars.
60-Day View
Each DOR includes a 60-day advanced view of occupancy (also called the Retail Report) that can be passed along to tourism-dependent businesses, helping your destination be as prepared and efficient as possible.
Toggle Points
The bottom of the DOR contains a Chart Key of toggle points to help users understand what certain colors and lines indicate. Clicking these toggle points turns the indicators on/off, allowing for more clear and precise analysis.
Zooming Data
At a high level, the DOR only allows you to see significant bumps in the timeline. However, vital information can be highlighted and viewed at a more granular level by clicking and dragging across a specific section/time length in the DOR.
