Inntopia announced today that it has made two appointments to its Board of Directors – PhilipWolf, founder and Chairman of PhoCusWright, and Simon Lehmann, CEO of Zurich-based Interhome and TravelWindow.
Mr. Wolf founded PhoCusWright, the premier source for travel, tourism and hospitality intelligence, in 1994. He is quoted frequently in consumer and trade media including CNN, Business Week, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times and was named to Travel Weekly’s “Club 33: The Most Influential People in the Travel Industry.” His expertise in travel distribution strategy, technology, and innovation has made him a sought-after speaker around the world.
Prior to PhoCusWright, Mr. Wolf was president and CEO of Travelmation, a venture-funded software developer and travel booking engine pioneer, later sold to Rosenbluth International. In addition to his role at Inntopia, Philip is a distinguished lecturer at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, and serves on the boards of MakeMyTrip.com (NASDAQ:MMYT), OKTOGO.RU, and Hopper.
Mr Lehmann has served as the CEO of Interhome, a global leader in the vacation rental segment, since 2005. Interhome currently operates in more than 15 European countries, and employs more than 350 staff. Simon also serves as CEO of TravelWindow, Switzerland’s largest online travel agency, and Deputy CEO of the HotelPlan Group. Both Interhome and Travel Window are subsidiaries of HotelPlan, which in turn is owned by Migros, one of Switzerland’s largest and most well respected companies.
Before joining Interhome, Simon held top management positions with Swissport International, the world’s largest company in airport ground handling services, working in Switzerland, Greece, and Germany.
“We are very pleased to have both Philip and Simon on board,” says Trevor Crist, CEO of Inntopia. “Both bring industry knowledge and experience that are unmatched. Their insights and guidance will help ensure Inntopia’s continued success as we expand both our market reach and our product offering.”
