Inntopia, the travel industry’s leading eCommerce and central reservation provider announced today the acquisition of Destimetrics, a leading comprehensive market intelligence provider for the destination leisure travel industry.

The acquisition of Destimetrics follows Inntopia’s merger with Ryan Solutions in November, and adds one more key component to Inntopia’s offerings: a full suite of market intelligence reports and analytics for the travel and hospitality industries.

As a result of the acquisition, Inntopia now provides the most industry-complete integrated commerce, marketing, and business intelligence technologies in the industry. The new merger also supports the company’s vision and desire to develop the best technology solutions in the travel industry, and enhance guest experience at each stage of the travel cycle.

DestiMetrics’ valuable complimentary product set extends Inntopia’s current offering and provides both an opportunity for new clients and additional benefits for existing partners.

“We have tremendous respect for the market leadership DestiMetrics has achieved, and for Ralf Garrison as a pioneering entrepreneur in the mountain travel industry,” comments Trevor Crist, CEO of Inntopia. “The acquisition of DestiMetrics will serve as one of the foundational pieces of our upcoming Business Intelligence offering,” adds Crist. “It is a great addition to Inntopia’s product set, and existing DestiMetrics clients will be able to automate their reporting through our API libraries, and generate on-demand reports.”

Ralf Garrison, the founder of DestiMetrics, will continue to work with the combined Inntopia/DestiMetrics business. “We have a close relationship with Trevor Crist and the Inntopia team, and with Corey Ryan and the Ryan Solutions team. Joining with both companies brings DestiMetrics closer to the core travel data it monitors, empowers users in new ways, and allows DestiMetrics to generate superior market insights,” commented Garrison.
