Evolution: Customer Support → Partner Services

About a month ago, we held our 2016 Inntopia User Group Conference here in Stowe, Vermont. It was an incredibly exciting event attended by a wide range of our partners from all over North America and beyond.

One of the themes of the event was ‘CHANGE.’ From our software development methods transitioning to a true ‘Agile’ model to refining the way we recruit, hire, and train our staff, things are evolving very rapidly around the Inntopia offices. A key ingredient in this evolution is our investment in the team that works ever so closely with all of our valued partners.

Partners” being the key word. Since the early days of Inntopia, we’ve had a team called “Customer Support.” That team has helped troubleshoot problems, work with you on bug cases, and more. But, to us, support is something you give someone when they are troubled, or down, or need a bit of a pick-me-up; which is great as support is a fantastic thing to offer someone. However, what we’re really striving to do over here in our little corner of the world is become trusted advisors for people at all levels within your organizations. Our focus is shifting to the “We” that is the team relationship between Inntopia and you, our partners.

To begin pushing the needle in a new direction, we are re-branding our team. What you’ve known as “Customer Support” is now “Partner Services.” This team consists of players that work with you on new implementations, frontline triage service, and Strategic Account Management initiatives.

The overall goal for everyone on the Partner Services team is to improve your experience with our software, and to help grow your revenue. We will continue working hard to troubleshoot with you, and get your bugs into the mix with our developers. That won’t change. What will change is our sharing much more about how to best leverage our technology to get the most out of your products and get customers into your properties.

Keep an eye out for big things to come!. We’re revolutionizing our training methods with our new online learning platform, Innovative U. We’re improving our outbound communications for bug fixes, software enhancements, and deployments. Expect our crew to work much more closely with you to learn about your businesses. We’re striving to be an extension of your team, partnering with you to take our services to the next level.
