We are pleased to welcome Jessica Jacobi, Senior Digital Marketing Manager at Aspen Skiing Company, as a panelist at INSIGHT on the “Brands Taking a Stand!” general session on Tuesday, May 23rd. Jessica will share how Aspen Skiing Company is dedicated to shaping their upcoming 2017-2018 National Campaign with a strong focus on proclaiming the core values for which the company stands.
About #TheAspenWay
Aspen Snowmass takes a stand with its 2017-2018 national campaign #TheAspenWay. Inspired by President and CEO of Aspen Skiing Company Mike Kaplan’s op-ed from December 2016: Aspen Snowmass, as a destination, and Aspen Skiing Company, as a place of business with nearly 4,000 employees, has always been and will always remain dedicated to tolerance, open-mindedness, environmental sustainability, and civility. LOVE, UNITY, RESPECT and COMMIT. Words—big ones, meaningful— you’ll see them standing large on the Aspen Snowmass mountains. They represent the intersection of values and art in iconic locations. But what’s the point? We believe there’s never been a more important time to proclaim from the mountaintops what we stand for. Be on the lookout for more—and consider stepping into the conversation. It’s #TheAspenWay.
About Jessica Jacobi
Jessica Jacobi is Senior Digital Marketing Manager at Aspen Skiing Company. Jess joined the marketing team at Aspen Skiing Company in March 2012 after working in Denver as a Brand Strategist for Monigle Associates, focusing on clients including CenturyLink, Western Union, and Paychex. Her focus at Aspen Skiing Company is CRM, loyalty and research, and managing the digital services team within marketing. Jess is a Colorado local and graduated from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a sprinter on the Women’s Track and Field Team. She resides in the Roaring Fork Valley with her husband and corgi puppy, Bibs, the secret weapon of marketing at Aspen Snowmass.
About Bibs
Bibs is a year and a half old corgi puppy. Her parents named her years before they met her, on a night before hiking Mount Sopris in Carbondale, after Bibler Tents. (Her dad and his buddy set up a Bibler tent in the house after a few adult beverages and the next day we decided Bibs was a great dog name – dibs on Bibs!) She loves peanut butter, ice cubes, beef jerky, and birthday ice cream. She’s quite a trail dog despite her shorter legs and runs along while her parents fat bike in the winter. She also crushed her first PBR lap in Fruita this spring. Bibs comes to work at Aspen Skiing Company daily, but has Fridays off with her dad. She once held the record for Instagram video likes but was recently topped by pond skimming; she’s working on her rebuttal.
