News Trish Buyer is Inntopia SVP Finance and Systems Operations

Inntopia is pleased to announce that Trish Buyer is transitioning to a new, full-time role as Senior Vice President Finance and Systems Operations. In the new position, she will head the accounting finance team including Glenn Crowell, Controller, Robin Carey, Accounting Manager, and Leslie Whitaker, Administrative and Office Manager. She will continue to focus on the finance side of the business, as well as help to maintain and track internal processes and systems.

Previously Trish was the Executive Director, Finance, Phocuswright and Inntopia. The transition to the full-time position at Inntopia, and relocation to Stowe, will be gradual and expected to be complete prior to the end of the year.

Prior to Inntopia, Trish lived in Sherman, Connecticut and worked for nine years at Phocuswright, the leading authority in travel research and events, as well as a wholly owned subsidiary of Northstar Travel Group. Late last year, she was instrumental in integrating Inntopia’s new acquisitions, Ryan Solutions and DestiMetrics.

“I am so excited for the move to Inntopia and the Stowe area. This is such an amazing time of growth at Inntopia and I am privileged to be a part of it. I am very much looking forward to new snowshoe trails and exploring the beautiful state of Vermont,” said Trish.

Trish is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University, MSA Accounting and William & Mary, BS, Mathematics and English. She is the proud dog parent of Peanut and Gilbert. She just came off a weekend workshop in Maine, proudly adding archery to her summer camp skills, which also include blacksmithing and glass blowing.
