Wyoming-based Ski Resort Plans to Integrate RTP and Siriusware Installations.
Grand Targhee Resort has decided to implement Inntopia Commerce in order to package and sell lift tickets, lodging, and other activities through their website and central reservations call center.
The Wyoming-based resort averages more than 500 inches of annual snowfall, and is looking forward to the ability to give guests a better experience purchasing vacation packages in a single shopping cart.
Inntopia Commerce provides a desktop application interface for central reservations call center agents, as well as a responsive web-based shopping cart that Targhee will integrate with their existing website. The system will pull real-time inventory, pricing, and customer information from Targhee’s existing RDP (property management system) and Siriusware (ticketing and pass sales) installations.
“Inntopia was built for resorts like ours, and we’re excited about their experience and expertise integrating with the software we already use to run and sell our products,” said Grand Targhee Resort Director of Marketing Jennie White.
Before Inntopia Commerce, Targhee could sell lodging and activities online, but through two different stores. Employees would have to manually complete each transaction by inserting orders into the relevant software systems. With Inntopia, not only does the system use real-time availability, pricing, and inventory from both source operating systems, but also pushes reservations in real time back to those systems without any manual intervention.
“Now that we’ve pulled the trigger, we can’t wait to get started and see how high we can push some of our metrics like revenue per transaction, conversion rate, and online booking percentage,” said White.
