Demand Generation Specialist

Description/Job Mission Statement

Inntopia is looking for a Demand Generation Specialist to support our marketing and sales efforts. This person will closely collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Chief Revenue Officer, as well as the sales and marketing teams to drive awareness and demand for the Inntopia product suite. This role will develop new prospects and guide them through the initial stages of the purchasing funnel.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prospect for leads in all Inntopia product-market segments
  • Grow and enhance the demand generation strategy for Inntopia including contact acquisition in relevant verticals, lead nurturing, and online campaigns
  • Conduct cold calls to prospective clients and set appointments
  • Qualify prospects per sales plan, budget, and internal selection criteria
  • Offer products and services to qualified clients through demos and face-to-face meetings
  • Manage sales process from prospecting through sales handoff
  • Prepare and staff tradeshows and conferences and represent company professionally
  • Build and document sales activities in company CRM software Salesforce and Pardot
  • Create content for email, landing pages, and other channels
  • Create and maintain metrics/reports on activities, effectiveness, and business impact
  • Prepare and engage in business development team status meetings
  • Meet productivity metrics as per management team’s directions
  • Focus on all Inntopia product-markets and manage key relationships with prospects
  • Run demos for prospects, develop presentations, and adapt sales collateral

Required Job Related Skills and Experience

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Exceptional selling skills
  • Strong technical-problem solving, writing, and verbal skills
  • Solid understanding of software sales
  • Previous experience in B2B marketing or sales
  • Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze, and interpret data
  • Enthusiasm in accepting challenging sales goals, and ability to help achieve them
  • Experience with Salesforce and Pardot

  • Ability to manage changing priorities within a highly-dynamic environment
  • Ability to work well under deadlines
  • Ability to perform duties with limited oversight
  • Willingness and ability to learn new skills as required
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • History of meeting quotas
  • BA/BS required; MBA preferred
  • Sales training in SPIN selling or similar consultative selling process a plus
