The most innovative technology provider in the industry made significant strides in the golf industry in 2017, with even more in store for 2018.

STOWE, Vt. — Inntopia will be attending the 2018 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida this month, and has some big client wins and in-progress software developments to share with golf resorts hoping to step up their sales and marketing game.

Inntopia’s Commerce platform is in use at several top-tier destinations, including Indian Wells and Treetops golf resorts. It allows golf course management to combine on-site and third-party hotel inventory with tee times to offer stay and play packages that are bookable in real time, both online and over the phone. Golf course operators using Inntopia’s booking engine to offer tee times and lodging in one cart on their own websites have seen substantial increases in online sales and per-reservation amounts.

“Obviously, taking control of stay and play package creation and sales can be really impactful for a destination golf operator’s bottom line. But a side effect of using our omni-product booking engine is retaining full control of their guest data,” said Tyler Mumley, Inntopia’s VP of Sales for the golf industry.

That data can then be leveraged through Inntopia’s Marketing Cloud platform to access a centralized, clean, and de-duplicated guest database, which can be used to segment audiences and create highly targeted email campaigns and automated marketing. Marketing Cloud lets golf operators turn last year’s golfers into next week’s tee times by reaching out to customers when they’re most likely to book.

Forward-thinking managers in the golf industry are seeing significant results from embracing technology to sell tee times and lodging together in one transaction, and Inntopia is committed to being the best tool to enable that first-mover advantage.

Inntopia will be available at booth #3110 at this year’s show.

Interested parties should contact Tyler Mumley at tmumley@inntopia.com or (802) 276-4080 to schedule a meeting.
