Implementation Specialist

Description

The Implementation Specialist works closely with the Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure the successful and efficient on-boarding of partners implementing the Inntopia Commerce platform. You will be responsible for training, system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of the products and integrations that comprise the Inntopia Commerce software platform.  You will work closely with stakeholders from multiple internal and external departments to plan, schedule, and facilitate all on-boarding tasks required by each partner’s implementation needs. Occasional travel is required.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create and manage the implementation schedule for new partners
  • Coordinate implementation meetings
  • Conduct on-site or remote training sessions
  • Create test environments for partners
  • Work with Engineering to execute setup and integration tasks
  • Assist Sales team with product demos and Q&A sessions with prospective partners
  • Work with Product Management to identify requirements for new feature requests
  • Participate in the ongoing development and maintenance of the Learning Management System (e-Learning)
  • Provide subject matter expertise on implementations and integrations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of system documentation
  • Facilitate the transition of on-boarded partners to the Strategic Account Management team

Preferred Skills & Expertise

  • Experience with the Inntopia product suite
  • Experience with GDS, Property Management, Payment Gateway, and Point-of-Sale integrations
  • Travel industry experience
  • Conceptual and practical understanding of eCommerce, web services, and XML
